Why wouldn't someone want to go to a Rockstar camp? These are one of the best opportunities to build your PLN and get great PD that you can immediately start using. Hands-on use of tech for PD is one of the best things you can do for yourself. PLUS, it's a mini vacation and a chance to get away to someplace that is actually cool (even if the weather is hot.)Did you see @herr_platt was featured on the @TeacherCast Top 10 Reasons to attend a @CUERockstar camp this year? Once you've been to a CUE Rockstar camp, you'll never settle for lesser PD! Rockstar camps give you a chance to fully engage with both direct content and social learning. You've got a 10:1 participant to staff ratio, three days of unique sessions, and plenty of time to create, experiment, and discuss. There's no doubt that you'll have “try it on Monday” ideas by the time the camp is over! In a matter of hours, your classroom will be positively influenced!

Every time you've sat in a lecture-style session at a conference thinking “I wish I had time to play with this and learn about it hands-on in a small group”, a CUE RockStar gets its wings. CUE RockStar is about small-group, hands-on, deep-dive learning. Oh, and also, connecting and sharing with 100+ like-minded colleagues from around the state over 3 days. Oh, and also, ice cream!

I attended my first CUE Rockstar camp just last summer. It completely rocked my world! It is truly electrifying to be surrounded by educators that love learning and are enthusiastic about their craft. I came away reignited and filled with ideas to spread that flame to my fellow staff and to my students.

“CUE RockStar is not just about the faculty, but truly about the rock star educators who attend to make their classrooms rock!” The CUE RockStar camps are really about the educators that attend them. They inspire me. They are willing to spend a few days learning from one another to go back to their sites and classrooms to make a difference.Did you see that @JasonSeliskarwas featured on the @TeacherCast Top 10 Reasons to attend a @CUERockstar camp this year? CUE Rock Star is a great way to energize and refuel your teacher gas tank. You learn skills and ways to create new or renewed meaning in your practice. You learn how to revitalize and invigorate the lessons you already teach, but you also add new ideas that get students excited about what they are learning. The networking opportunities are such an important factor from the Rock Star experience. This is true professional development on the highest level.Did you see that @KathleenDiverwas featured on the @TeacherCast Top 10 Reasons to attend a @CUERockstar camp this year? Click To Tweet

In 17 years, I have never seen a PD model met with as much success as the rock star model. They focus on one concept with exploration and a deliverable have meant a lot of teachers walk out feeling more than success, they have a game plan they can put into place the very next Monday. The hands on time cresting what they in turn will build as a lesson insures a level of confidence. Works great for integration of tech.Did you see that @tr_bowas featured on the @TeacherCast Top 10 Reasons to attend a @CUERockstar camp this year? Click To Tweet

A #rockstar camp will help connect you to like minded teachers and re-energize you for next year! Come and be with the “weird” people like yourself – those that spend their off time learning how to become more effective in the classroom.

If a teacher wants a slam dunk end of the year, have them try one new thing and include a reflection activity. I love the idea of creating a collaborative slide show that would show the rules and procedures of the classroom to next years class.
CUE Rockstar camps are the best PD around!!. Great sessions and time to process and practice. They serve ice cream and the PD is just the cherry on the top.

Have fun being a learner at CUE Rockstar. These camps are one of the few places teachers can learn what they want and have a blast doing it. With tons of support and the time to create and design, teachers leave Rockstar camps with a renewed sense of joy for being a learner and the skills to rock the classroom like never before. Recent studies show that students learn and love school more with CUE Rockstar teachers!

You should attend a Cue Rockstar Camp because nothing else compares. It is a PD experience you won't find anywhere else. Smaller groups allow for focused sessions, longer sessions allow participations to really try things out and engage the session leaders. Connections are made and relationships are built. If you have the chance – don't miss it.

“CUE Rockstar camps offer high energy professional development that by the end of the day will send you on your way with read-to-use, plug-and-play ideas and tools. Not only that, it's a great way to grow your informal professional learning network. By following the people and Faculty you meet on Twitter, you can keep the PD alive and growing after the Rockstar Camp in the Twittersphere. It's a #WinWin situation for everyone!”
