As my children have now graduated into those wonderful toddler years, they are beginning to start to become active using basic technology.  Each night, I have the privledge of helping them get ready for bed and together we sit down and the chosen bedtime story.

As they gain more and more vocabulary, we are gravitating more towards what might be known as “First Words Books.” This started me thinking about ways to bring Technology into our classrooms that work with our youngest of learners.

  1. Thanks Jeffrey, I am just starting my journey with Google Slides and it is great to see such a simple to use idea and I look forward to adapting this for the course using gamification that I am delivering online. Rhonda, Adelaide, South Australia.

    • Hi Rhonda,

Thanks so much for visiting TeacherCast and checking out the blog post. There are SO MANY things you can do with Google Slides. I use the app for just about everything EXCEPT as a presentation tool.
