About Our Guest

In this episode, we welcome the Melanie Lemme onto the show. Mel has been teaching for 10 years and currently teaches a self-contained K-2 language and learning disabilities class. Mel has her Master’s degree in special education. Mel is here to share her story about being involuntarily transferred. She will tell us about how she overcame this unexpected change as well as what she learned from it.

The circumstances surrounding an involuntary transfer can vary, so always reach out to your local association building representative or local association president to discuss the situation and find context, clarity, and perspective.
