TeacherCast Launches New Experience to Help Teachers Learn About Podcasting!
Are you interested in starting a podcast this year?
Do you already have a podcast and are looking to grow your audience?
If the answer is YES to any either of these questions, I am proud to announce today the launching of a brand new section of TeacherCast dedicated to helping YOU learn about Educational Podcasts and Educational Podcasting.
Starting today, www.EducationalPodcasting.com will be the new home for all of our content, both written and visual that focuses on the art of using Audio & Video. This project has been something that I've been wanting to do for quite some time and I'm excited to share it with you.
What can I find at EducationalPodcasting.com?
The website was created around the entire podcasting experience. The site is currently launching with just a small handful of posts, podcasts, and video tutorials and will be expanding with additional content over the summer.
EducationalPodcasting.com is broken down into a few informational sections:
Planning & Organizing
Learn what to do BEFORE you hit the record button. When it comes to launching your podcast there is so much to do before you sit down with your cohost. This section will be dedicated to helping your podcast launch perfectly!
Recording
Microphones, Applications, Workflows … Oh My! In the Recording section, we will take a look at the different options you might choose for your podcast to make it sound amazing!
Editing
Editing is one of the hardest skills to pick up as a podcaster. In this section, we will be discussing our tips & tricks for taking your RAW audio and video and turning it into a masterpiece.
Publishing
Your podcast is done … now what? In this section, we will be showing you how to get your podcast onto the most popular platforms so it can be heard.
Choosing the Best Apps
Apps are not just for recording and listening … in this section, we will be talking about a variety of topics and applications that I use to create the TeacherCast network including those I use to market and create email campaigns.
Is That All There Is?
Certainly not!
While I am excited to show you this new educational podcasting resource, I am also excited because this is just the beginning. Over the next few weeks, we will be adding several new features to the site along with dozens of new blog posts and podcasts.
How Can I Help?
If you have an interest in either learning about podcasting or sharing your knowledge for educational podcasts, we would love to work with you. I'm currently looking for teachers who would like to:
Be a Guest On The Educational Podcasting Today show.
Join me for an episode of Educational Podcasting Today to talk about your journey as a podcaster or tell us about how you are using Podcasts in your classrooms.
Contribute a Post
Do you have something you would like to share? We are accepting guest posts related to Educational Podcasting. Please email me for details.
Request a Topic
For the last 8 years, the TeacherCast Educational Network has been built on the thoughts and conversations I have had with thousands of educators. If there is an aspect of Educational Podcasting you don't know and would like to learn more about … please send me a hello and let me know! I'm happy to work with you.
Let's Get Ready To Podcast!
I hope you have a moment to check out the new EducationalPodcasting.com homepage. This is just the start of a multi-layered podcasting experience we will be launching this summer and I'm excited to share it all with you.
