Strategies for using Filters to organize your Gmail messages
One of the easiest things you can do to save yourself a huge amount of time is keep an organized inbox. Over the last few weeks, I have done several long form workshops on the importance of email and email management and my favorite saying is “A Clean Inbox … is a Happy Inbox.” It really is true. It's very easy to organize your emails using Gmail. You can choose to keep thousands of emails in your inbox, or you can simply select them and hit the archive button. This does not delete them, rather, it pushes them into your “all mail” bin where you can access them anytime you wish.
By using Filters, you can auto select a particular sender or subject and have labels put on your emails so they are all ready to be archived upon reading.
In this video, learn why filters may just be the best way for you to clean your inbox plate and become a much more effective communicator.
Happy Organizing!
